Even if you do not consider yourself to be a gardener, you can certainly become one. Small-scale gardens in your home, backyard, or around your city can be very beneficial to the local wildlife. By going to your local farmer's market or garden store, you can easily buy the supplies to start your at-home garden! 1) First, find a patch of land that you want to start your garden in. Look for a spot that receives rain and attracts pollinators. If you do not have a spot in your backyard, you can also find a spot in your house to put your plant pots in. 2) Go to your local garden store and pick up a variety of plants. Try to implement a variety of trees, flowers, and native plants (ask a store worker). If you are growing an in-house garden, you will need to purchase a few pots as well. 3) Gather your materials, go to your spot, and start planting the plants wherever you desire! (Watch a short video if you are a beginner.) 4) Make sure to water your plants at least once a day, and in no time, you will have a thriving garden that will be full of pollinators.
